Attuned Was Songkai Protter
Okay, so you've probably seen this sort of thing used on an Elementalist, and this is more of the same thing. The difference is it's got a few small advantages, namely an unstrippable item spell and foes wasting their enchantments. I was trying it out today with a couple variations, independent or dependent on hero spirits, and it worked pretty well in HM FoW, alongside other healers. See what you think -
12 Protection Prayers, 12+2+1 Spawning Power
Ghostly Haste
Attuned Was Songkai
Empowerment
Reverse Hex
Protective Spirit
Spirit Bond
Shield Guardian
Selfless Spirit
Cast Empowerment, Attuned Was Songkai then Selfless Spirit. You see where this is going.
When I was trying it, I swapped out Empowerment for Shield of Absorption since my Heroes were running spirits.
The only things I have that are wrong with it as of now are lack of direct healing, trouble with small packets of damage and condition removal. I'm pretty bad at prioritising things, so I'd be greatful if anyone could help me out with it. Thanks.

First off, don't get me wrong...I love people that think outside the box and try to break classes into doing things that other people don't normally use them for
That being sad, I think you're looking at this the wrong way...Rits are already fairly potent healers without having to go /Mo, but what you're trying to do is make the benefit of the Rt/Mo be supreme energy management, which any good Monk will be able to accomplish. The benefit of a monk primary is the ability to both prot at unreachable attribute levels of any other class and automatically heal a bit with points in Divine
Is this Rt/Mo going to start a new revolution? No way. But if you're using it for fun in PvE, then I say by all means why not...it is only PvE after all

I like it tbh, but why 15 spawning? Is there a breakpoint in energy costs? And I'd take out Reverse Hex..in PvE hexes get reapplied instantly, Definitely SoA.
Only thing I hate? No % Enchants.

You need just 14 spawning for the breakpoint.
10e spells cost 2e and 5e spells are free, which one has to like about this build.
The Empowerment --> Ghostly Haste --> AwS series is a bit unwieldy.
For more red-barring you might consider RoF.

Well I put it up to 15 to prevent more energy cost in case of Weakness. That, and I don't really have anything useful to put the extra 6 points on if I did take it down. I suppose a minor rune could be in order for a nice extra 35 points.
Also RoF is probably a good idea. It's the only real all-rounder the build will have. What to take out for it...

I use Was Songkai and Selfless spirit to spam the healing spells the Rit has, as well as Weapon Spells. Weapon spells cost 2 energy and the healing spells cost 0 energy. YOU NEVER EVER RUN OUT OF ENERGY AND CAN KEEP SPAMMING ALL DAY LONG.

I just tried that out.
Soothing Memories, MBaS, Spirit Light, <weapon spell>, Ghostly Haste, AwS, Selfless, FomF.
It's really quite amazing. Provided you have a teammate who's keeping at least one spirit around, you can pretty much just keep on casting heals constantly, stopping only once every now and then to renew AwS.

But in reality it is just another form of red-barring but limitless energy. The monks glimmer+selfless spirit can do that and prot effectively so the damage never happens.
Sure the monk will run out of energy eventually but by that time if the enemies are not dead then your team has other problems.

So? It's still pretty effective.

Ah, but if I wanted to run a monk build, I'd have to play on my monk. I don't want to play on my Monk - not until/unless I finish off the character-based gameplay titles on my Ritualist. That'll be a long time in the case of the EotN ranks, even with ZQ occasionally speeding it up.
Granted, once I've done that with him, and I can just leave him unused save for using consumables on him towards titles, I'll probably start playing other classes more often with no particular aim, but until then, I go for the most viable Ritualist version of a build - in this case, a healing build.

What's wrong with red barring? When you have SY on your team or the occasional Spirit Bond or Protective Spirit, all you truly need is red barring.
Sure, things like SoA are good, but people don't need to get fancy when you can simply mitigate it.

If energy is so limitless I would Change it to this: (untested)
Ghostly Haste
Attuned Was Songkai
Life
Selfless Spirit
Mend Body and Soul
Spirit Transfer (big red bar up and with high SP it probably will survive)
Weapon of Warding
Flesh of My Flesh
